My Foundations: A Unique Childhood
Growing up in a communist country during the 80s was a distinct experience. It may seem “different” from today’s world, but it profoundly shaped my view of life. If you're curious about my upbringing, I’m happy to share. One vital lesson I learned was to use creativity and imagination to find happiness in everyday life. Today, we often overlook the value of simple logic and common sense, but I’m committed to bringing these qualities back to our travel experiences.
Leaving my hometown at 22 was both freeing and emotionally tough. The excitement of exploring the world was intoxicating, yet the challenge of leaving my loved ones was heavy on my heart. This experience reflects the age-old saying: "the grass is always greener on the other side."
A Journey of Gratitude
Fast forward two decades, and I reflect on this journey with immense gratitude. I consider myself happy, healthy, and wealthy—not just in possessions, but in experiences. For example, I’ve hiked over 1,000 kilometers through various terrains, each step teaching me something new. The strength I've developed, along with unwavering faith, has helped me embrace challenges and learn from every encounter. These essential life lessons are what I aim to pass on to you through my travel stories, filled with timeless tips and insights.
Travel gives us moments of joy and discovery. The world brims with incredible places to explore, from the vibrant forests of Vancouver Island to the serene beaches of Thailand.
